Privacy Policy

Last updated · 21 October 2026

This policy explains how Meridium Labs Ltd ("Meridium Labs", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use our website and our products, including SocialOS, our social media management platform.

1. Who we are

Meridium Labs Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17174112), registered address 1 May Close, Rushden, Northamptonshire NN10 0GF, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the data described here. Contact: info@meridiumlabs.co.uk.

2. Data we collect

3. How we use it

Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running a secure service, and your consent where we ask for it. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

4. TikTok data

If you connect a TikTok account, SocialOS uses TikTok's official APIs only with the permissions you approve on TikTok. We use your basic profile information to identify the connected account, and we upload and publish videos to your account only when you instruct us to. We do not access your TikTok messages, followers' personal data or any content you have not chosen to publish through SocialOS. You can revoke access at any time in your TikTok app settings (Security → Manage app permissions) or by disconnecting the account in SocialOS, after which we delete the stored token.

5. Who we share it with

We share data only with providers needed to run the service: the social platforms you connect (Meta, TikTok and others), media hosting (Cloudinary), web and server hosting providers, and AI model providers used to draft captions. Each processes data under its own terms and appropriate safeguards. Some providers are located outside the UK; where they are, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account data and content while your account is active. When you disconnect a social account we delete its tokens. When you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to or restrict its use, by emailing info@meridiumlabs.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

8. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS, access tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to other users, and access to our systems is restricted.

9. Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date above.
